Well, I must say that I was a disbeliever when Mr. Weatherman came on the news the other night to say we would be getting snow tomorrow. SNOW, in October! Can you believe this....we got about 6-7 inches here. Most of NJ is without electricity, again. We're very fortunate
since our utilities are underground and we seldom lost electricity.
Now snow is really pretty if it's in December, January or February
but October, not so much.
With the leaves still on the trees it caused a lot of damage around here.
I'm hoping that the kiddies fair well while Trick or Treating on Monday.
Our beautiful October Glory Maple tree was having a tough time with all of the snow.
Mr. Country and I went out to clean as much snow off of the leaves as we could. This snow
was wet and very heavy. You could hear the crackling of branches in the
background while we were outside.
The boys loved this surprise snow storm and had a blast playing outside.
Thank you so much for stopping by...I'll be partying with....

per me è bellissimo vedere la neve!Al mio paese è solo un sogno!Rosetta
ReplyDeleteMarianne, it's all very lovely to look at from afar as far as I am concerned. We usually lose power. Please be careful. That looks like it could be slick soon. Thanks for sharing the beauty. Great photos, too. Helen
ReplyDeleteWOW!! We have been watching the news and just cannot believe what you guys are dealing with. Hope you can still have a great time trick-or-treating. With candy as the motivation, kids won't mind being a little bit cold, right? :-)

Oh my, you did get some snow. Beautiful photos though. Glad you still have your power.
ReplyDeleteIt is way too early for snow! But it sure is beautiful. I hope those without power get it back on soon! Be careful and have a Happy Halloween.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea to help the tree by knocking down some of the snow! It does look beautiful though and your subdivision looks so picturesque!
ReplyDeleteHope it doesn't destroy too many pretty trees around there! It is way too early but I am sure it will melt quickly- right?? Let's hope so! I'm used to the snow up here in northern Michigan, but even we don't get that much snow so early! Hope your halloween was fun for the kids. They will always remember this one for sure!
WOW! It is so hard to believe you guys got so much snow so early in the season.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! You guys stay safe.
lol We got it too and lost power for days.
ReplyDeleteTrees and power lines are still down by me.
The snow was so pretty but I'm not ready for winter.
I loved seeing your beautiful pictures!
I'm glad your okay.

Dee
