It's A Summer Cloche Party!

Did I Hear Party?
I love a good party and am so excited to be joining this one!  Six months ago I didn't even know what a Cloche was.  Now look, I'm joining cloche parties. And the most exciting part,  I finally got a new camera and I'm so excited that I've been taking lots and lots of pictures.   I'm still learning how to use it but I'm amazed at the clarity of the pictures that this camera is taking.  So with no further ado please enjoy some of my new photos!

I thought I would finally introduce you to my family room.  I've refrained from doing so because the pictures my old camera was taking would turn everything fluorescent blue and yellow.....needless to say, YUCK!

Meet Roo....he's been living on this table for awhile but I thought that I would redecorate the table for him.

It's Sunflower season over here.....there are acres of farms full of gorgeous Sunflowers so I couldn't resist.

This is the view from my family room into the kitchen.  We have a nice open floor plan in our home.  As you can see, I love color.  I've been adding more white to my home, more than I ever thought I would but it always comes back to color for me.

I got these Frenchy pillows from Gathered Comforts on Etsy.com.  I love the bird appliques that have been added.  They look great for the summer months!

Roo just loves the smell of the Sunflowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I'll be linking up to:

  9. Love the touches of green you've added, Marianne! I have an apothecary {not shared on my post} with lemons and fruit makes for a great under cloche display. I didn't have a cloche until I met Marty either. Now I have about 5! : )

  13. Me thinks Roo might be considering a peck at the seed pods...he has that hungry look in his eyes. Great pictures. Looks like you are getting the hang of that new camera.

  14. Hello,
I visited your blog today. Your photos are lovely. I really liked the rooster. My daughter recently made a chalk board similar to the one that you showed. It is on a post we did in June called "Home Treasures." Me and my daughters just started a new blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I have always had a thing for glamour country, especially in the kitchen. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you and seeeing all your creative, beautiful ideas. Hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.
