Black and Green

While browsing the isles of Marshalls, my favorite store, I came across these awesome zebra print plates and knew I just had to have them.  But the question was, what do I do with them....how about a lovely tablescape!

So off to my porch I went with to create this lovely black and green design.

I purchased these  round lime green placemats at Marshall's along with the green salad plates.

From my garden I cut beautiful white hydrangea's and magnolia leaves to create a summery bouquet which I arranged in my favorite white ironstone vase.

The tablescape wouldn't be complete without the company of
one of my rooster's.....isn't he just lovely!

For the tablecloth I used a painters tarp that I had laying around.

The lime polka dot tea towels are from Quilters Studio which were
inexpensive at $2.69 each.

To add some additional interest to this table I placed some of my pears here and there around each place setting.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I'll be linking up to:

  19. Gosh, I just love this color combination but I don't know that I would have thought to use the black, white and green together. Thanks for expanding my color combo horizon. Your table looks great! I love all the natural elements you used to carry on the green theme like the arrangement, the pears, the apples, and limes in the water.
