Styling My Front Porch

We  had our front and side porches painted last week.  What a mess it was. There is a lot to be said for vinyl and cement!  Once it was painted I thought it would be nice to  give it a decorative facelift.

We kept the porch colors the same but just freshened them up.  What a difference a
new coat of paint makes.

I decided to take some blue toile pillows that I had put away and use them on the
rockers with some burlap pillows that were in my family room. I had to bring
out my favorite ironstone pitcher.

I covered the little blue table with some left over burlap that I had.

And added a nice bowl of pears.  What tastes better on a warm day
than a cold glass of lemonade.

This chair was on the side porch and I moved it over since I didn't like what I had here.  I draped a very long burlap table runner over it to look like a throw.

And I moved my beautiful pot of white petunias from the side to front porch!

I did all of this with things that I already had!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by:

  15. That is awesome! Love the crisp white with the touches of burlap. My friend Kim just styled her sisters porch and did some similar things. Fun idea to do. I may have to try it sometime.
