I showed you a sneak peek of my side porch awhile ago. What a mess it has been for some time now. I have this great wrap-a-round porch that was just dying to be used with something other than plastic Little Tykes toys and a catch all for storage.
So I took the plunge and went shopping. We have one of those credit cards where you accumulate points and with the points you can get gift cards. So I cashed in some of our points, got Home Depot gift cards and bought some new furniture. And what a great way to shop since the cards covered
about two thirds of the cost.
Isn't it pretty, we finally have someplace to sit comfortably and eat.
And I had to add some beautiful white petunia's and pink geraniums.
I bought the seat cushions for $14.99 each at Marshalls in trying to keep with the blue theme of my home.
I have two of these chairs that were sitting in my shed for ages. I took them out and spruced them up a bit. Now I want to get a love seat so I can make a conservation area as well as a dining area.
As for my feathered nest friends......well, they are living right outside my front door. Lets have a peek....
One day there were three....
And the next there were four!
Mamma bird is pretty protective of her little ones. Can't wait until they're born.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I will be linking up with:

Great furniture, Marianne! I love white wicker on a porch. Those eggs are so beautiful. I guess even the birds want to match the blue you have going on! : )

Hi there, I'm visiting from BNOTP for the first time. Your new furniture is really pretty. And, I love the sweet birds eggs in the nest. I'm from New Brunswick Canada and our spring is quite late this year but the birds are nesting and I'll soon see eggs too. :-) Blessings, Pamela

Hi Marianne, it's me again. Thanks so much for your helpful comment on my sink post. I am leaning towards a sink and a half but am afraid that at 25" it will be quite small. I will mostly do hand dish washing as we are on a well. It will be stainless for sure and a drop in. I appreciate your help. Oh, and there are 3 robin eggs in the nest by our back deck! I found them today. These robins nest there every spring. :-) I hope they don't freeze! It's only 5 Celsius (about 40 F) today. BRRRR. Thanks again. Blessings, Pamela
